  • Patent number: 12104448
Abstract: A grease-retaining frac valve insert to mitigate grease loss during operation of a frac valve, a frac valve assembly using one or more of the grease-retaining frac valve insert, and a wellhead including one or more frac valve assemblies using one or more of the grease-retaining frac valve inserts. The frac valve assembly includes a valve gate defining a valve aperture movable from an wellhead operating position to the valve open position. The grease-retaining frac valve insert includes a seal plate defining a cuff receptacle. A valve sealing cuff is removably received in the cuff receptacle. The valve sealing cuff carries a face sealing groove for sealing against the valve aperture as the valve gate is moved between the wellhead operating position to the valve open position.

  • Patent number: 11966555
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for measuring a workspace is provided. The method includes capturing a workspace that is virtually represented on a user interface display of a computing apparatus that image-captured the workspace. The user inputs, via the user interface, a value of a known measurement of a length represented in the virtual workspace. Through the user interface, along the virtual workspace, the user identifies virtual end boundary points of the length associated with the known measurement. The user then defines a defined space within the virtual workspace by placing additional virtual boundary points. The system calibrates from the inputted value and the virtual end boundary points of the known measurement all the remaining measurements of the surface area, which can be used to render a map display and calculate surface area, volume, or any other geometric aspects of the defined space.

  • Publication number: 20240088407
Abstract: A cell plate has a frame body and a cell plate in fluidic communication. The cell plate is coupled to the frame body using a flexible member, which allows for some independent movement of the cell plate vis-à-vis the frame body. A plurality of cell plate assemblies may be coupled together to form a cell stack. The cell stack may be put to use in a redox flow battery.

  • Publication number: 20240031368
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for discounting extensibility latency are described. A software platform may receive multiple requests from a source to access one or more resources. Each request may use one or more credentials. The software platform may determine that a deviation between at least one credential used by a previous request and at least one other credential used by a subsequent request satisfies a threshold. In some examples, the threshold may be based on the one or more resources. The software platform may restrict access to the one or more resources based on the deviation satisfying the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20190109334
Abstract: A cell plate of a redox flow battery adapted to provide laminar flow. The cell plate may have a flow frame including a plurality of feed channels interdigitated with a plurality of exhaust channels so as to channel the electrolyte solution through the cell plate and induce proton exchange between a catholyte portion and an anolyte portion. The feed channels and exhaust channels are sized and spaced to manipulate the flowrate and pressure of the electrolyte solution channeled therethrough. In some aspects, the flowrate and pressure are controlled such that the fluid pumps may have a reduced size and speed, thereby reducing the parasitic load on the system and increasing system efficiencies.

  • Patent number: 9777365
Abstract: This disclosure describes a module web coating system and components thereof including a more uniform atmospheric control pumping mechanism and gas curtain separation system. A modular web coating system may include an unwind module, any number of process modules, and a rewind module. The process modules are interchangeable and independently operable. In addition, this disclosure describes a more uniform pumping system in which process gas is removed from multiple locations or slits spaced around a process chamber and, in an example, around a process device such as a deposition source. The gas curtain system utilizes a zone between process chambers into which separation gas is injected. Gas from the chambers is continuously removed thereby operating the chambers under negative pressure and preventing process gas from one chamber bleeding into an adjacent chamber.

  • Publication number: 20160005499
Abstract: A method of coating a nuclear reactor component includes introducing the nuclear reactor component into a colloidal solution at a first rate to obtain an immersed component. The colloidal solution is a non-crosslinked mixture including a dispersed phase within a dispersion medium. The dispersed phase may include n-type metal oxide particles. The method additionally includes removing the immersed component from the colloidal solution at a second rate to obtain a wet component. The method also includes drying the wet component to obtain a dried component. The method further includes baking the dried component to obtain a coated component. Accordingly, the nuclear reactor component is provided with a protective layer that reduces or prevents the occurrence of corrosion.
