  • Publication number: 20230265237
Abstract: The present specification generally relates to a method for the oxidative conditioning of a microbial cell wall, and its eventual lysis. In particular, the specification pertains to an oxidative lysis solution and methodology, wherein the selective lysis solution is capable of conditioning and lysing the cell wall of polyhydroxyalkanoate-producing microbes, while having a limited effect on the degradation of the polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) biopolymer solids contained therein, thereby allowing for the further high yield recovery, and purification of high molecular weight PHA biopolymer solids.

  • Patent number: 10980241
Abstract: The present disclosure includes the composition and methods of a granule formulation consist using a liquid biological active that has great handling properties yet still efficacious. The biological active is absorbed into or spray onto a mixture of carriers, dispersants, and/or wetting agents. When the product is formulated as a granule, it has good durability and does not dust which increases handleability of the product during application.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 25, 2019
Date of Patent: April 20, 2021
    Assignee: Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc.
