  • Patent number: 11600191
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for validating honesty of a student taking an online test. A camera is used to detect and monitor the test taker's eye movements and eye gaze positions during the taking of the test to ensure the test taker is looking only at the computer display showing the questions and answer choices to the test taker. A microphone is incorporated into, placed on, or in the vicinity of the computer display and the system compares audio received to recorded voice of the test taker to detect another voice. Other voices and eye movement beyond the display screen may be flagged as indicative of dishonest test taking.

  • Publication number: 20220393666
Abstract: Filter devices are disclosed. A filter device includes a piezoelectric plate comprising a supported portion, a first diaphragm, and a second diaphragm. The supported portion is attached to a substrate and the first and second diaphragms spans respective cavities in the substrate. A first interdigital transducer (IDT) has interleaved fingers on the first diaphragm. A second interdigital transducer (IDT) has interleaved fingers on the second diaphragm. A first dielectric layer is between the interleaved fingers of the first IDT, and a second dielectric layer is between the interleaved fingers of the second IDT. A thickness of the first dielectric layer is greater than a thickness of the second dielectric layer. The piezoelectric plate and the first and second IDTs are configured such that radio frequency signals applied to first and second IDTs excite primary shear acoustic modes in the respective diaphragms.

  • Patent number: 10943374
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein for supporting an object reshaping feature in software applications. In an implementation, an application receives an input stroke on a canvas in a user interface to the application. The input stroke originates with an instrument-down action on the canvas, terminates with an instrument-up action on the canvas, and comprises a leading component. The application monitors for interactions to occur between the leading component of the input stroke and objects on the canvas during the input stroke. When an interaction occurs between the leading component and an object on the canvas, the application reshapes the object during the input stroke to reflect the interaction.
