  • Publication number: 20230105332
Abstract: A hydraulic height control system controls all raising, lowering and folding movement of agricultural tillage equipment. The system includes a single hydraulic circuit utilizing non-rephase cylinders which allows for independent raising and lowering of the equipment frame sections and tool gangs. The hydraulic circuit also controls the folding of the frame wings between field and transport positions. Sensors monitor component positions. The hydraulic circuit also uses a common rail for providing fluid to the cylinders.

  • Patent number: 8960722
Abstract: A trailer for transporting an agricultural harvesting head includes a pair of saddles for supporting the head. The saddles are adjustably mounted on the trailer frame and are simultaneously moved together by an actuator operated by a remote control. The saddles are connected by telescoping rod sections so that the spacing between the saddles is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6964551
Abstract: An improved trailer for transporting bulk seed boxes is provided. The trailer includes a bed, a hopper extending below the bed for receiving seed from the bulk seed box, and an auger for unloading seed from the hopper. The bed includes upwardly and outwardly extending guide plates to provide self-centering of the seed box when the box is loaded onto the bed with a forklift truck. The bed includes lock bars moveable between locked and unlocked positions to secure the seed box to the bed. The hopper includes a slide gate with a control arm connected to the gate and extending to the auger side of the trailer for moving the slide gate between open and closed position. The auger includes a foldable upper section which is pivotal between a folded transport position and an extended raised operative position. The folding of the upper auger section is facilitated by a gas cylinder and a lever arm.

  • Patent number: 6396003
Abstract: A combination seed and yield cart is provided for transporting seed to and from the field. The cart includes a hopper with at least one seed compartment and legs for supporting the hopper on a support surface. A load cell is mounted adjacent each of the hopper legs. The hopper is adapted to be removably mounted on a trailer. The load cells are operative when the hopper is mounted on the trailer or on any other support surface. The load cells are free from rotational torque such that the cart can be moved at safe speeds of 50 m.p.h. or more.

  • Patent number: 5253746
Abstract: A bulk seed transport bin includes an enclosed storage container mounted on a frame. An auger extends upwardly out of a roof portion of the container and has an upper dispensing port. The auger includes a lower end extending through the interior of the container and downwardly through a funnel-shaped lower portion of the container. An auger shaft with flighting thereon is removably mounted within the auger tube, and may be removed through the upper end of the auger tube by removing an upper flange sealing the upper end of the tube. The lower end of the auger shaft is hollow and is journaled on the upper end of a connector shaft extending through the lower end of the auger tube. The upper end of the connector shaft has an arm mounted thereon which will engage a stop on the lower end of the auger shaft when the auger shaft is journaled on the connector shaft.
