  • Patent number: 6927200
Abstract: Liquid detergent compositions which are particularly suitable for washing dishes comprise an amine oxide surfactant, an alkyl alkoxy sulphate surfactant, and preferably magnesium salts. Part of the alkyl alkoxy sulphate surfactant is a branched material, resulting in improved physical stability of the compositions at low temperatures.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 20, 1998
Date of Patent: August 9, 2005
Assignee: The Procter & Gamble Company
Inventors: Jean-François Bodet, Suchareeta Patil, Garry Kenneth Embleton
  • Patent number: 6894013
Abstract: Disclosed are detergent compositions for hand dishwashing which, by incorporating certain organic solvents, results in a liquid dishwashing detergent composition that is not only a more effective cleaning agent, but also offers improved physical and enzymatic stability and more convenient rheology and handling characteristics than typical liquid dishwashing compositions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 4, 2004
Date of Patent: May 17, 2005
Assignee: The Procter & Gamble Company
Inventors: Joanna Margaret Clarke, Garry Kenneth Embleton, Howard David Hutton, Mark Leslie Kacher, John David Sadler, Deborah Pancheri Wallace

  • Patent number: 6589926
Abstract: Detergent compositions containing low molecular weight organic diamines are provided. More particularly, detergent compositions for hand dishwashing which have improved grease removal performance and benefits in sudsing are provided. Further, such detergent compositions have improved low temperature stability properties and dissolution properties.

  • Publication number: 20010016565
Abstract: A liquid detergent composition, particularly suitable for washing dishes, comprises from 30% to 90%, by weight, of the total composition of water, and a surfactant mixture comprising i) a 100 % by weight linear, optionally alkoxylated, alkyl sulfate surfactant, and ii) a branched, optionally alkoxylated, alkyl sulfate surfactant, wherein the amount of branched alkyl sulfate surfactant is 10% to 60%, by weight, of the total alkyl sulfate surfactant, provided that if either or each of the linear and branched alkyl sulfate surfactants is alkoxylated, the molar weight average degree of alkoxylation is less than 1.4. The compositions have improved viscosity characteristics and good grease and/or suds performance, and are stable at low temperature.
