Abstract: An electrical machine stator comprising a core having coolers attached to the outer lateral surface thereof by means of detachable resilient fastening means including each a rigid member attached to the core, a resilient member mounted on the cooler and an adjusting means movably connected with the rigid member and being in contact with the resilient member to provide continuous pressing of the cooler in a radial direction.

Abstract: A rotor of an electrical machine has a superconducting winding which is connected to a heat exchanger in the cavity of the rotor. The heat exchanger feeds coolant to and withdraws coolant from the rotor. A thermal/electromagnetic shield, radially spaced from the superconducting winding, is connected with a Ranque vortex tube disposed in the cavity of the rotor. The rotor also has power leads having cooling ducts connected to the Ranque vortex tube and to the coolant discharge line. In addition, the rotor has two reducer portions adjacent the superconducting winding, arranged in series along the axis of the rotor on either side of the superconducting winding and each having a cooling duct located in close proximity to the superconducting winding and connected to Ranque vortex tube. The outlets of the cooling ducts of the reducer portions are connected with the coolant discharge line.

Abstract: An electric machine stator comprises a core with slots for placing winding bars therein. The winding bars are locked within the slots by pairs of oppositely directed wedges. To eliminate the possibility of an axial displacement of the wedges and, as a result, a looseness of wedging the winding bars, the peripheral portions of extreme wedges adjoining the winding bars protrude outside the stator core and have cross slots with a band located therein which also surround the stator winding bars.
