  • Publication number: 20030221254
Abstract: A top mounting faucet assembly comprising a mounting plate that may be mounted to a sink surface, a waterway tube, a faucet body housing, and a locking mechanism. The waterway tube is housed within the faucet body housing, to form a removable faucet assembly. The locking mechanism is attached to the mounting plate. This removable faucet assembly is mounted upon the mounting plate by attaching the faucet assembly to the locking mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6536809
Abstract: A pivoting sleeve assembly for aligning a fluid delivery device perpendicular to a mounting surface when the fluid delivery device is mounted to a wall, the pivoting sleeve assembly made up of a fluid delivery device housed within a sleeve, the sleeve having a lower tubular portion and an upper arcuate portion, and an annular pivot ring, the inner surface thereof having an arcuate shape to conform to the shape of the upper arcuate portion of the sleeve, so that the sleeve may pivot within the contours of the pivot ring. This allows the sleeve to orient the fluid delivery device for proper mounting to the surface.

  • Publication number: 20020105186
Abstract: A pivoting sleeve assembly for aligning a fluid delivery device perpendicular to a mounting surface when the fluid delivery device is mounted to a wall, the pivoting sleeve assembly comprising a fluid delivery device attached to a fluid supply, a sleeve, attached to and surrounding the fluid delivery device, the sleeve having an inner surface and an outer surface, and having a lower tubular portion and an upper arcuate portion directly above the lower tubular portion, the arcuate portion curving upwards and outwards from the top of the lower tubular portion, and an annular pivot ring having an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface having an arcuate shape to conform to the shape of the upper arcuate portion of the sleeve, so that the sleeve may pivot within the contours of the pivot ring. This allows the sleeve to orient the fluid delivery device for proper mounting to the surface.

  • Publication number: 20020071718
Abstract: A retaining clip for attaching together two conduits comprising a spine member having a first end and a second end, a first set of pincer arms extending from the first end of the spine member, and a second set of pincer arms extending from the second end of the spine member. Once the first conduit is inserted within the second conduit, the first set of pincer arms attaches to the first conduit, and the second set of pincer arms attaches to the second conduit, thereby preventing the first conduit from separating from the second conduit. The retaining clip may be removed to separate the two conduits.

  • Publication number: 20010011561
Abstract: In a pull-out spray head faucet an annular elastomeric bushing disposed in a groove in a portion of the adapter extending rearwardly outside of the handle section of the pull-out spray head. The elastomeric bushing has a plurality of axially extending circumferentially spaced apart raised ribs on its outer surface which frictionally engage the inner surface of the spout to reduce the play and wobble of the spray head when it is inserted into the spout.

  • Patent number: 5860634
Abstract: A stem extender for use with a faucet valve assembly which contains a valve body, a valving member including a valve stem rotatably disposed in the valve body, a stop member including a detent and a bore non-rotatably mounted on the valve body with the valve stem extending through the bore, and a handle for rotating the valve stem and the valving member. The stem extender includes a tubular member having a camming surface which cooperates with the detent of the stop member to ensure that the valving member is rotated to a sufficiently open position to prevent so-called "temperature kick" which occurs when the valving member is in the only slightly open position. The tubular member includes a slot opposite the camming surface adapted to receive a compression spring.

  • Patent number: 5725010
Abstract: A mixing valve comprising a modular cartridge non-rotatably mounted in a housing. The cartridge includes inlet passages in its bottom portion, outlet passages in its top portion, and a pressure balance valve intermediate and in communication with said inlet and outlet passages. The inlet passages are in communication at their downstream ends with supply ports in the housing. The outlet passages are in communication at their upstream ends with a volume and temperature control valve plate. The volume and temperature control valve plate is rotatable to align or misalign outlet apertures in said plate with the outlet passages in the cartridge. The rotation of the plate is controlled by a stem attached to a handle. Means are provided to adjust the maximum water temperature. The temperature adjustment means include an orienting stem ring having an opening shaped to receive a complementary shaped section of the stem.
