  • Publication number: 20140251475
Abstract: A water pressure controlled valve including a housing and a piston slidably received within the housing. First and second water control chambers are positioned on opposite ends of the piston and are fluidly coupled to first and second water control valves, respectively. Operation of the first and second water control valves controls water pressure in the first and second water control chambers to cause sliding movement of the piston and control water supplied to a water outlet.

  • Patent number: 7066204
Abstract: A multi-port diverter valve assembly with an integral detent feature includes a valve body and a diverter valve cartridge and cap combination wherein the cap includes one or more deflectable fingers positioned so as to “detent” into one or more detent recesses formed in a lower cartridge portion of the rotatable cartridge. In order to provide fluid communication to external hydraulic devices with a total of six selection options, a total of six detent recesses are provided. In the preferred embodiment, there are two deflectable fingers approximately 180 degrees apart. An O-ring is positioned between the deflectable fingers and the valve body in order to provide part of the resistance force against the deflectable fingers so as to provide a tactile feel to the user when a selected detent position is reached by rotation of the diverter valve cartridge within the valve body.

  • Patent number: 6910501
Abstract: A thermostatic valve for mixing hot water and cold water includes a valve body defining a first inlet, a second inlet, a mixing chamber, a first passageway between the first inlet and the mixing chamber, and a second passageway between the second inlet and the mixing chamber. The thermostatic valve includes first and second flow control assemblies and first and second screen assemblies assembled into the valve body. A first screen assembly is positioned downstream of a first flow control assembly and a second screen assembly is positioned downstream of a second flow control assembly. Each screen assembly is removable from the valve body and includes a screen body having a screening portion with a lower open end and a top portion. • Patent number: 6676024
Abstract: A thermostatic valve is controlled by a motor that receives signals from an electronic control module (ECM). The ECM sends an electric signal corresponding to a desired outlet stream temperature to the motor, which turns the thermostatic valve to a location corresponding to the desired temperature. The ECM also adapts the thermostatic valve capacity to outlet flow demands by restricting and opening inlet valves, ensuring that the thermostatic valve can maintain an equilibrium temperature for both high and low outlet flow applications.

  • Patent number: 6588453
Abstract: In a pull-out spray head faucet or hand shower an insert is disposed in the tube spout to keep the pull-out spray head or wand from wobbling when it is seated in the tube spout. The insert is generally tubular and is shaped and sized to fit into the tube spout. The insert has two opposed tabs on the interior walls which engage two wings on an adapter which is mounted in the wand, thereby securing the adapter and wand against wobble.
