  • Patent number: 6170082
Abstract: A standardized test environment assists identifying problematic instances of instructions in computer programs that produce erroneous results. A standardized production environment takes corrective action for selected instructions by intercepting instruction processing during instruction fetch, instruction decode or instruction execution and modifying one or more values such that the instructions achieve correct results. In one embodiment of a test environment, a computer system collects diagnostic information for designated instructions such as subtraction operations that produce negative results. In one embodiment of a production environment, a computer system intercepts instruction processing for instructions at specified locations in a program and takes corrective action according to information obtained from a table of control information.

  • Patent number: 6116760
Abstract: A light stake particularly useful for mounting ornamental electrical lighting is provided which includes an elongated shank and a head presenting small and large loops for respectively mounting smaller and larger light sockets. The head is angularly oriented relative to the shank and the large and small loops are cooperatively formed, preferably oriented in opposite directions. The light stake is most economically formed of a single piece of resilient wire, and may mount either a small socket, a large socket, or small and large sockets simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 5870062
Abstract: A feed structure for transmitting or receiving microwave energy to or from a reflector includes a waveguide having an input section, intermediate section, and output section. The waveguide has an inner surface of generally rectangular cross section and an outer surface of generally circular cross section. The outer surface includes unique opposing convex surfaces which enables the waveguide to be bent with minimal resulting deformation of the internal rectangular surface. At least one locating surface is provided on the outer surface of the waveguide for determining the orientation of the waveguide. The input section of the waveguide has a threaded cylindrical surface adapted to be connected to a hub having a threaded interior bore which is connected to the reflector. A feed horn integral with the output section of the waveguide and having a circular output aperture is formed by machining the inner surface of the waveguide into a rectangular to circular transition.

  • Patent number: 5740442
Abstract: A standardized test environment assists identifying problematic instances of instructions in computer programs that produce erroneous results caused by dates having years expressed in a truncated form. A standardized production environment takes corrective action for specified instances of instructions by modifying one or more values such that the instructions achieve correct results. In one embodiment of a test environment, a computer system collects diagnostic information for instances of subtraction operations that produce negative results. In one embodiment of a production environment, a computer system intercepts execution of a computer program at specified locations and takes corrective action according to information obtained from a table of control information.

  • Patent number: 5714963
Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting a microwave antenna to a radio unit. The connector assembly comprises a central hub including a waveguide and adapts for connection to the antenna for transmitting microwave signals to and from the antenna. A first latching element is attached to the hub and a second latching element adapts for connection to the radio unit and cooperates with the first latching element for latching and unlatching in response to rotational movement of the second latching element relative to the first latching element.

  • Patent number: 5291212
Abstract: A grid-type microwave antenna comprises a multiplicity of generally parallel conductive rods. Each rod is curved along its length to form a section of a paraboloid so that when all the rods are positioned parallel to each other, in spaced apart relationship to each other, they form a paraboloidal reflector. A rim includes insulating members for receiving and holding the ends of the rods to position the rods in spaced apart and parallel relationship to each other.
