  • Publication number: 20240065696
Abstract: Implantable occlusion devices that include one or more flanges extending from a tubular body are disclosed. The flange or flanges may assist in retention of the device within a vessel, cavity, appendage, etc. At least one flange on the occlusion device may include a concave surface proximate one end of a body. Because of the shape of the flange, e.g., its concavity, the occlusion device may resist dislocation due to e.g., the forces generated within the left atrial appendage during atrial fibrillation.

  • Publication number: 20160108337
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lubricating composition comprising: (a) an oil of lubricating viscosity having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 2.8 to 3.6 cSt (mm2/s) and a viscosity index of 104 to 130; (b) 1.2 to 5.0 wt % of at least one borated dispersant, wherein at least one borated dispersant is further functionalised with a sulphur or phosphorus moiety; (c) a calcium-containing detergent present in an amount to deliver at least 110 ppm to 700 ppm of calcium; (d) at least two phosphorus-containing compounds present in an amount to deliver 360 to 950 ppm of phosphorus; and (e) 0.1 wt % to 5 wt % of a linear polymer viscosity modifier having dispersant functionality. The invention further provides a method of lubricating a transmission with the lubricating composition disclosed wherein.

  • Publication number: 20050003312
Abstract: Photographic elements are disclosed comprising a silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a dye forming coupler and a compound of the following Formula I: R1R2N—C(O)—(R)p—C(O)—NR3R4 wherein R represents a hydrocarbon linking group; p=0 or 1; and each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represents an aromatic, cyclic, linear or branched chain hydrocarbon group, or R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 combine together to form a ring with the associated nitrogen atom to which they are attached; with the proviso (i) at least one of R1, R2, R3 and R4 comprises an aromatic, cyclic, secondary alkyl, or otherwise or branched hydrocarbon group, or (ii) at least R1 and R2 or R3 and R4 combine together to form a ring with the associated nitrogen atom. Photographic elements of the present invention upon exposure and photographic processing exhibit good activity and yield dye images that have unexpected and substantial improvements in the stability of the formed image dyes.

  • Patent number: 6378328
Abstract: A refrigerant flow-control device is automatically operable between a normal or low-flow condition and a pressure relief or high-flow condition in response to pressure drop across the flow-control device, in one embodiment the flow-control device includes a tubular-shaped body having an inlet, an outlet, and a refrigerant passageway extending from the inlet to the outlet, a cylindrically-shaped restrictor secured within the tube and forming a second restriction, and a cylindrically-shaped collar secured within the tube and forming a poppet-valve flow passage. The collar is spaced-apart from the restrictor within the tube. A poppet is located within the tube partially between the restrictor and the collar and carries a valve element. The poppet is movable between a first position closing the poppet-valve flow passage to generally prevent refrigerant flow therethrough and a second position opening the poppet-valve flow passage to permit refrigerant flow therethrough. The poppet forms a first restriction.
