  • Patent number: 6402105
Abstract: A hanging display device for displaying pairs of shoes in a side-by-side relationship. The device includes spaced-apart resiliently deformable legs that can be conveniently inserted into the foot-receiving cavities of the shoes in a manner to support the shoes in a hanging relationship. The device also includes a center member that is disposed between the shoes and carries at one end a hook-like member that can be emplaced over a peg or hook provided on a display board. A display panel is affixed to the center member which spans the top of the shoes and provides ample space for displaying product information and promotional material.

  • Patent number: 6062992
Abstract: An improved ball mark repair tool which can be used to relieve compaction of the earth surrounding the ball mark in a correct manner and then gently force the earth upwardly and inwardly about the ball mark so as to raise the turf and properly fill the indentation. More particularly, in one form of the invention, a downward pressure exerted upon the handle of the device will urge spaced apart earth engaging repair prongs to penetrate the earth in an area surrounding the ball mark and then to automatically move the prongs inwardly relative to one another to loosen the soil and urge it inwardly and upwardly so as to correctly restore the surface of the green to a substantially planar condition.

  • Patent number: 5944081
Abstract: A head cover for an iron golf club has an enlarged cover section which fits over the head of irons of different sizes. The cover section includes an internal cavity with an enlarged open mouth through which the head passes upon placing the cover section over the head and a protector section which covers, at least partially, the hosel member of the shaft when the head is received within the cavity. A clip near the open mouth expands with the shaft of the iron golf club being pushed into the cavity and retracts to hold the shaft when the head is received within the cavity. In one form of the invention, the clip is uniquely molded into the protector section of the head cover. In another form, the clip includes leg portions which can be lockably inter-connected to secure the head cover in position over the golf club.

  • Patent number: 5792015
Abstract: A putting aid to assist the golfer in accurately predicting the path along which the golf ball will travel in rolling toward the cup along a sloping green. The aid includes a light-weight, hand-held casing which has an easy-to-use viewing window with appropriate indexing lines for reading the slope of the green relative to the location of the putting cut. In using the device, after the cup location and slope of the green are appropriately aligned with the indexing lines provided on the viewing window, a cooperating pendulum and pointer mechanism provides a direct reading in feet of the slope of the green as a function of putting length on an easy-to-read scale imprinted on one face of the casing. The scale permits a reading of the slope of the green in feet either to the left or right as a function of the length of the put.

  • Patent number: 5735327
Abstract: A head cover for an iron golf club has an enlarged cover section which fits over the head of irons of different sizes. The cover section includes an internal cavity having a rough texture surface with an enlarged open mouth through which the head passes upon placing the cover section over the head and a protector section which covers, at least partially, the hosel member of the shaft when the head is received within the cavity. A clip near the open mouth has legs which extend through openings formed in the cover and expand with the shaft of the iron golf club being pushed into the cavity and retracts to hold the shaft when the head is received within the cavity.
