Abstract: This invention relates to compositions and applications for a topical skin care composition that includes from about 52 wt % to about 90 wt % Camellia sinensis (green tea) extract; from about 0.5 wt % to about 15 wt % Calendula officinalis extract; from about 0.5 wt % to about 10 wt % Trifolium pratense (red clover blossom) extract; from about 0.1 wt % to about 5 wt % Lavandula angustifolia essential oil in coco-caprylate/caprate; from about 0.5 wt % to about 5 wt % glycerin; an emulsifier component in an amount from about 2 wt % to about 10 wt %; and a preservative component in an amount from about 0.5 wt % to about 3 wt %, wherein the amounts are by total weight of the composition.
