    Abstract: A guest assistance platform may analyze video data of an environment that includes a liquid substance. The video data is analyzed using a machine learning model trained to detect objects in the liquid substance. The guest assistance platform may detect an individual in the liquid substance based on analyzing the video data and may determine a measure of confidence associated with detecting the individual in the liquid substance. The guest assistance platform may determine one or more confidence factors associated with detecting the individual in the liquid substance. The guest assistance platform may modify the measure of confidence using the one or more confidence factors and may determine whether the modified measure of confidence satisfies a confidence threshold. The guest assistance platform may selectively cause assistance to be provided to the individual or continue analyzing the video data based on whether the modified measure of confidence satisfies the confidence threshold.

    Abstract: An X-ray tube is provided adapted to generate X-ray beams, comprising a first and a second deflection device mounted external or internal to the X-ray tube between a cathode and an anode in a diagonal manner for focal spot deflection in a combined x- and y-direction. The first and second deflection devices are triggered alternately such that only one deflection device is activated at a time. The first and second deflection devices may be triggered according to a predetermined switching sequence, e.g. producing a predetermined deflection pattern of the focal spot. Thereby, an improved x- and z-flying focal spot methodology is provided.

The electrostatic grids and the electromagnetic coils are arranged separately from each other and provide for a combination of electrostatic x-deflection in tandem with electromagnetic z-deflection.

    Abstract: Monolayer packages comprised of an oxygen scavenging composition suitable for direct contact with package contents and recycle with other polyester bottles are disclosed. The oxygen scavenging composition is comprised of a modified copolymer which is comprised of predominantly polyester segments and an oxygen scavenging amount of oxygen scavenging segments. The polyester segments comprise segments derived from typical bottling and packaging polyesters such as PET and PEN. Use of these oxygen scavenging copolymers in bottles provides a clear and rigid monolayer bottle similar in appearance to unmodified polyester bottles. In a series of preferred embodiments, bottles fabricated with the oxygen scavenging copolymers of this invention are over 99 wt % PET and contain less than 50 ppb of extractable components.
