  • Patent number: 9459153
Abstract: An automated analytics system can include a sensor system that obtains measurement data by monitoring one or more parameters at each of a number of locations on each of a number of replicated components of an object. A computing device receives the measurement data from the sensor system and uses the measurement data to automatically generate a computerized representation of each of the plurality of replicated components. Thereafter, upon receipt of an input query, the computing device generates a synthesized representation of the object that is specifically directed to a parameter of interest indicated in the query. The synthesized representation may be displayed in a visual format that is interpretable by a human to derive information associated with the parameter of interest.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 17, 2014
Date of Patent: October 4, 2016
    Assignee: General Electric Company
Inventors: Romano Patrick, Sameer Vittal, Gary Cristofoli, Johan Michael Reimann

  • Patent number: 8756528
Abstract: A system and method of enabling a user to customize a layout of a video display uses a data file. The data file may be stored within an application. The data file enables the user to specify at least one parameter of a cell of a video display such as, for example, a location, height, width, and display percentage. A layout creating module creates the layout based on the parameter(s) defined by the user. A dynamic icon creating module dynamically creates an icon that represents the layout created by the user. Preferably, the icon depicts the layout of created by the user.
