  • Publication number: 20100087103
Abstract: A crimped wire termination is disclosed for electrically terminating thereto a stainless steel wire. The termination includes a barrel having a concave spine and opposing fingers on either end of the spine extending outwardly from the spine at symmetrical angles. The fingers are adapted to encircle an end of a wire. An indentation formed in the spine when crimped. The indentation forms a segment of the barrel having a cross-sectional diameter less than a cross-sectional diameter of an adjacent end of the barrel, and forms a bend in the wire at opposite ends of the segment, to prevent axial movement through the barrel.

  • Patent number: 4699445
Abstract: An electrical terminal assembly is provided with retention clip means for retaining a substrate in place. The retention clip means are designed in such a manner as to allow the insertion of the substrate into the clip means without damaging a sensitive layer of material provided on one side of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4132460
Abstract: An electrical connector housing which is intended to be mounted on a motor stator comprises a prismatic terminal housing portion having a flat base and having cavities therein for reception of electrical terminals. A supporting rib extends laterally from one of the sidewalls of the terminal housing portion and a surface is provided adjacent to the terminal housing portion for positioning the housing on one face of a stator with the rib extending laterally inwardly of the stator. The rib has clamping means on its inner end so that the housing can be clamped to the stator with the clamping means in engagement with surface portions of adjacent pole members of the stator.

  • Patent number: 4109992
Abstract: Electrical connector for connecting two conductors to two terminal pins which extend from a hermetic header comprises an insulating housing having three side-by-side stalls therein. One conductor extends to one of the stalls and is connected by a crimped splice terminal to a lead from a diode which is also contained in the housing. The other lead from the diode extends to another stall and is crimped to a pin-receiving terminal in the other stall. The second conductor extends to the remaining stall and is crimped to a pin-receiving terminal in that stall. The arrangement is such that when a tensile force is applied to the conductors, no force is transmitted to the leads of the diode.
