    Abstract: A frame profile is an elongated extrusion having a consistent cross section along its length which can be cut to required lengths for forming side jambs and/or a head jamb of a door. The frame profile includes a base plate having a first face, a second face, a first side edge and a second side edge. There is a first formation extending from the first face adjacent the first side edge, and a second formation extending from the first face close to the second side edge. The second formation is spaced from the first formation to define a main channel therebetween. The second formation includes a trim receiving space for receiving a trim board therein.
