Abstract: An example system includes a vehicle having a prime mover motively coupled to a drive line; a motor/generator selectively coupled to the drive line, and configured to selectively modulate power transfer between an electrical load and the drive line; a battery pack; a DC/DC converter electrically interposed between the motor/generator and the electrical load, and between the battery pack and the electrical load, the DC/DC converter comprising a DC/DC converter housing; and a covering tray positioned over a plurality of batteries of the battery pack, the covering tray comprising a connectivity layer configured to provide electrical connectivity to terminals of the plurality of batteries.

Abstract: Paddle floatation apparatus that fits over a kayak or other shallow draft watercraft paddle shaft so that the entire length of the paddle becomes significantly buoyant. Paddle may then be better equipped to assist the user in self rescue, executing a roll to right an inverted boat, a brace, and generally keeping one's head out of the water so that one can breath between roll attempts—and thereby avoid wet exits. With or without skilled form and technique, a user can apply force onto the paddle shaft to rotate the kayak and paddler to an upright position. The shape of the float when inflated is substantially tubular.

Abstract: Disclosed is a naturally encapsulated disposable data storage system for storing and retrieving data from within a self-contained environment and a method for encapsulation of data storage devices. The encapsulated data storage system contains one or more data storage devices that are encapsulated in a manner impervious to external environments. The natural encapsulation method enables the creation of a self-contained environment for the operation of the data storage devices, while maintaining a hermetic seal between the data storage devices and the surrounding environment and allowing the encapsulation to occur at ambient temperature and pressure.
