  • Patent number: 6753913
Abstract: An image processing apparatus for charge coupled device (CCD) and video inputs in a digital camera or for a digital camcorder is disclosed which provides optical black and offset correction for CCD inputs. A sampling circuit, including correlated double sampler (CDS) (402) and programmable gain amplifier (450), samples the image input signal and the video input signal. CDS (402) includes a single-ended amplifier (404) and a differential amplifier (406). The single-ended amplifier (404) functions such that it is only operable during an CCD signal input; otherwise, the single-ended amplifier (404) is bypassed such that a video signal is only sampled by the differential amplifier (406). For CCD signals, the single-ended amplifier (404) samples the reference level of the pixel and holds it during the video interval. The differential amplifier (404) samples both the output of the single ended amplifier (404) and the video level of the same pixel.

  • Publication number: 20040006515
Abstract: A method for supplying framing materials is provided, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a framer access to a software program for selecting one or more characteristics of a framing supply such as a mat board, wherein the software program is operable to create an electronic file that contains information relating to the one or more characteristics; (b) receiving one or more of the electronic files that contain the information relating to the characteristics of one or more mat boards; (c) preparing the framing material using a computer controlled machine and the one or more electronic files; and (d) providing the framing material to the framer.

  • Patent number: 4704248
Abstract: A nuclear fuel element comprising an elongate block of refractory material having a generally regular polygonal cross section. The block includes parallel, spaced, first and second end surfaces. The first end surface has a peripheral sealing flange formed thereon while the second end surface has a peripheral sealing recess sized to receive the flange. A plurality of longitudinal first coolant passages are positioned inwardly of the flange and recess. Elongate fuel holes are separate from the coolant passages and disposed inwardly of the flange and the recess. The block is further provided with a plurality of peripheral second coolant passages in general alignment with the flange and the recess for flowing coolant. The block also includes two bypasses for each second passage.
