    Abstract: The present invention relates to a cable loop forming and hoisting device and, more particularly, to a cable knot block device adapted to forming a sized hoisting sling or loop in fixed relation which is capable of lifting or restraining various types and sizes of loads of varying weight. The device may be readily attached to the load and easily disconnected from the cable while positively retaining the cable in looped load-bearing locked-in relation.
