    Abstract: The present invention is directed toward an illuminated fishing pole having an elongated hollow fishing rod having a free end and a fixed end. An elongated hollow handle having a forward end secured to the fixed end of the rod, and a butt end. A light source which is contained within the elongated hollow handle projects light toward and through the elongated hollow fishing rod. The fishing rod can be made from a transparent or clear, flexible material.
