  • Publication number: 20230135121
Abstract: A method of identifying a vehicle total loss claim includes retrieving a plurality of historical vehicle records, labeling the records as repaired or total loss, calculating mean cost values, training a regression model, optimizing a probability threshold, analyzing a plurality of inputs to generate a prediction, and transmitting the prediction. A computing system includes a transceiver; a processor; and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the computing system to receive answers, transmit the answers, receive a prediction, when the prediction is repairable, generate a repair suggestion, and when the prediction is total loss, generate a settlement offer. A non-transitory computer readable medium containing program instructions that when executed, cause a computer to receive answers, transmit the answers, receive a prediction, when the prediction is repairable, generate a repair suggestion, and when prediction is total loss, generate a settlement offer.

  • Patent number: 11625634
Abstract: A method and system for improving analysis of social media and other usage data to determine user sentiments are disclosed. Social media posts are identified as relevant to determining user sentiments regarding a service provider. Posts are analyzed by machine learning algorithms to determine user general sentiments and specific sentiments. User interaction metrics indicating user interaction with service provider web site or application may also be analyzed. Sentiment and interaction determinations may be used with other data to predict likelihood of user attrition for services of the service provider. Sentiment determinations associated with social media posts may further be used to determine priority levels for the posts, including response urgency levels. Determined priority levels may then be used to implement appropriate actions in a timely manner based upon the post urgency.

  • Patent number: 10769223
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for the identification and classification of a social media posting. In various aspects, image-based data and text-based data may be collected from one or more social media data sources associated with a social media posting. Event related data may then be extracted from each of the image-based data and the text-based data, in which the event related data is indicative of one or more life events associated with a social media user who posted the social media posting. One or more life event classifications may be determined from the event related data and an activity, such as sending a message or article to the social media user, may be triggered as a result.

  • Patent number: 6679953
Abstract: According to the method of the present invention, the ball plug is press fit into the counterbored passage of a fuel injector nozzle assembly prior to hardening of the fuel injector nozzle assembly. A core hardening and gas nitriding process is then applied to the assembly, causing the ball plug to expand and the passage diameter to shrink. This results in a greatly increased seal between the ball plug and the passage, and substantial elimination of the gaps experienced therebetween in prior art fuel injector nozzle assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20010048955
Abstract: A method for feeding a pet a balanced meal or supplement. For a dog, the meal includes a main course having a high protein content, a side dish having a high carbohydrate content and a dog treat preferably in the traditional shape of a bone or biscuit which the dog has been preconditioned to perceive as a reward. The meal is provided in a tray having a removable cover, the tray being divided into separate compartments in which the main course, side dish and treat are placed. According to this inventive method, the dog receives a well-balanced and enjoyable meal or supplement.
