  • Patent number: 8707523
Abstract: A webbing securing device comprises a main body having two side arms, a first end, a second end, a cavity between the side arms and a cord securing mechanism. There is a releasable central arm connected to the main body adjacent the first end and an elastic cord connected to the second end. The elastic cord is adapted to be secured on the cord securing mechanism, and is dimensioned so that the cord must be stretched in order to be secured on the cord securing mechanism. A length of webbing is secured in the device by feeding a loop of webbing in between the side arms and over the central arm, or over the side arms and underneath the central arm, and securing the elastic cord on the cord securing mechanism, so that the webbing is secured between the side arms and the central arm.

  • Patent number: 8683665
Abstract: An adjustment system for adjusting the width of a cuff has an elongated adjustment strip having a set of longitudinally extending teeth. Each tooth has a forward side and a rearward side. A length of each forward side is greater than a length of each of the rearward sides so that an angle between a longitudinal axis of the strip and the forward side is less than an angle between the longitudinal axis and the rearward side of each tooth. There is a locking mechanism formed by a base plate having a locking device on an underside and a guide for slidably connecting the locking mechanism to the strip. The tooth and the locking device are configured so that the locking device can be moved forward along the strip using only a small amount of force, and can then be moved rearward using a larger amount of force.

  • Publication number: 20120175473
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tube holder comprising a main body part and a part for clamping a tube. The latter is a semi-enclosed structure, a first end of which is in rotary connection with the main body part and a second end of which buckles into the main body part. Since the tube holder herein only comprises two parts, it is simple in structure. After the tube has been placed into the part for clamping a tube, the part for clamping a tube of a semi-enclosed structure buckles into the main body part. As a result, the tube will not come off due to users' body shaking, representing excellent reliability. The tube can move in the part for clamping a tube as well. Moreover, the tube holder herein can be fixed onto the apparels or backpacks and further be regulated up and down according to uses' need.

  • Patent number: 6520466
Abstract: An attachment device for use with a personal digital assistant (PDA) is provided which generally comprises a back surface, a base, and at least one securement arm. The securement arm(s) are resiliently deflectable to receive and retain the personal digital assistant under the force created in the deflection of the arms, and which allows the PDA to be selectively removed. The attachment device may include attachment apertures to secure the attachment device to a folio or other type of notebook, or to a surface such as a wall, an automobile visor, or an automobile dashboard. The attachment device may also be incorporated into a folio or similar device to provide protection to the personal digital assistant while allowing full access to, and operation of, the PDA.

  • Patent number: 6154935
Abstract: A quick release buckle particularly for use on backpacks including a two part body, an engagement part and a receptor part each of which include attachments for a strap or belt. The body parts telescope into engagement with one body part including a flexible finger and the other a catch. A buckle release strap is secured to the flexible finger and to the body by a snap fastener. At least one upstanding wing on a body part protects the buckle release strap from unintended release.

  • Patent number: 5954077
Abstract: A tent pole base bracket (10) having at its outer end (18) a termination hook (24) for receiving attachment of common tent options like canopies, tarpaulins, and rain flies. The preferred form of the bracket (10) has a pass through slot (30) located at its inner end (20) for accepting a web strap from a tent wall, which may be permanently or temporarily attached to the bracket (10). Roughly central to the bracket (10) a pole orifice (34) is provided for receiving the end of a tent pole. The bracket (10) may have a base curved shape (38) to permit it to rock into a position that optimally handles stresses received concurrently from tent wall fabric, a tent pole, and an attached canopy. Further, the bracket (10) may be constructed so that a defined pole axis (40) and a defined hook axis (42) may be substantially parallel in use of the bracket (10).

  • Patent number: 5933925
Abstract: A strap divider for diverging a pair of straps which are disposed one on top of the other into a Y configuration which may be used for the chin straps of a bicycle helmet. The strap divider includes a main body which receives the pair of straps therethrough, and a rotatable clamping member which can be rotated from a position where the straps are clamped in place to an open position where the straps may be adjusted. In one embodiment, the rotatable member includes a cam around its circumference which cooperates with a projection in the main body for adjusting the clamping member between the open position and the locked position as the clamping member is rotated.

  • Patent number: 5884372
Abstract: A clip, for example attachable to both a refreshment tube of a reservoir-based hydration system and to, for example, an article of clothing. The tube clip includes a tube attachment section to attach the tube clip to the refreshment tube, and a clip section and locking arm to releasably attach the tube clip to the article of clothing. A person engaged in an activity may thus affix the refreshment tube to a location on clothing by engaging the locking area while a portion of the clothing fabric is within a clipping area. The location of attachment on clothing can be selected to provide easy, quick, or "no-hands" access to the refreshment tube. The clip may be formed from molded plastic.
