Abstract: Disclosed is a method for displaying multiple performance measurements of a web site. Collected performance measurement data are retrieved for at least one performance measurement variable. A graphical representation is displayed for the retrieved performance data for the at least one performance measurement variable. One of the at least one performance measurement variables is selected. The displayed graphical representation of retrieved performance measurement data is scaled for the selected one of the at least one performance measurement variable.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of setting and displaying performance thresholds is disclosed. The performance thresholds have a lower limit and an upper limit. A meter area is first displayed having a scale, the meter area being divided into a plurality of sections with each section being indicative of a performance measurement. The lower limit and the upper limit are set using the scale by sliding a first marker to the lower limit and by sliding a second marker to the upper limit and displaying the first and second markers in the meter area. Any number of the plurality of sections are second displayed based upon one of real-time and historical measurement data with sections below the lower limit being displayed in a first color, sections between the lower limit and the upper limit being displayed in a second color, and sections above the upper limit being displayed in a third color.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for calculating web site capacity using measurement performance values collected by a web server using data from web browser MIB's and a HTTP MIB. The measurement performance values are sent by a server in the web site to a remote computer on which resides a platform independent program capable of calculating web site capacity. The capacity is calculated using web server hit rate, response time and CPU utilization. This capacity calculation can be displayed in textual format in various views of performance such as server performance, cluster performance and history of the server and cluster.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system is disclosed for changing a display from a display of individual peak values of web site performance to a graphical display of web site performance, including at least one of the individual values. The individual peak values representing real-time web site performance are displayed. One of the individual peak values is selected. A graphical display of historical performance is displayed which includes the selected individual peak value.
