  • Publication number: 20250019979
Abstract: A drainage screed includes an attachment flange, a drainage leg, and a lip. With the attachment flange attached at a wall structure, the drainage leg extends from a lower edge region of the attachment flange. The lip extends from the drainage leg at a location along the drainage leg that is between the attachment flange and a distal end of the drainage leg distal from the attachment flange. A first portion of the drainage leg extends between the attachment flange and the lip, and a second portion of the drainage leg extends between the lip and the distal end of the drainage leg. A first drainage hole extends through one selected from the group consisting of the first portion of the drainage leg and the lip. The first portion of the drainage leg extends downward toward the first drainage hole to promote drainage through the first drainage hole.

  • Publication number: 20250020346
Abstract: A ventilation screed includes an attachment flange and an upper flange that extends from a first side of the attachment flange along an upper edge region of the attachment flange. A bead wall extends partially along the upper flange and is spaced from and below the upper flange. A terminal end of the bead wall is spaced from the attachment flange. A return bead extends from the bead wall away from the upper flange and partially along the first side of the attachment flange. A spacing element is disposed at an outer surface of the upper flange and extends between the outer surface of the upper flange and a horizontal structure above the ventilation screed to space the upper flange from the horizontal structure. A first adhesive element is disposed at the second side of the attachment flange and engages the upright wall structure.

  • Patent number: 12098567
Abstract: A fencing bracket having a box structure having opposing left and right sidewalls extending from opposing longitudinal ends forming a U-shaped cross-section, and a return support flange disposed at a lower edge thereof, wherein the left and the right sidewall have a pair of aligned cross beam openings and a first and second opening respectively. The fencing bracket includes a strap having a first fiat portion having a third opening, a middle portion (that is either rounded or rectangular), and a second flat portion having a fourth opening, the middle portion is between the first flat portion and the second flat portion. The first opening is aligned with the third opening and the second opening is aligned with the fourth opening, and a fastener passes through the first, second, third and fourth openings and is retained via another fastener at either the third or fourth opening.

  • Publication number: 20240301700
Abstract: A ventilation screed includes a base panel configured for attaching at a vertical wall structure. A first flange extends from the base panel and includes a first side and a second side. A second flange extends from the first side of the first flange and partially along the base panel. A third flange extends from the second flange along the first side of the first flange and spaced from the first flange. A terminal end of the third flange is spaced from the base panel. A spacing element is disposed at the second side of the first flange and includes a convex surface. With the base panel attached at the vertical wall structure, the convex surface is between the first flange and a horizontal surface perpendicular to the vertical wall structure and the convex surface flexes to accommodate movement of the horizontal surface relative to the ventilation screed.

  • Patent number: 12000153
Abstract: A casing bead apparatus includes a base panel with at least one opening through the base panel. With the apparatus mounted at a vertical wall, the base panel is disposed along the vertical wall. A stop bead wall extends from the base panel. The stop bead wall includes a first side, a second side opposite the first side, and a flange at a distal end of the stop bead wall distal from the base panel and extending partially over the base panel. A spacing element is disposed at the second side of the stop bead wall. An adhesive element is disposed at the spacing element. With the apparatus mounted at the vertical wall, the adhesive element engages a horizontal surface perpendicular to the vertical wall to adhesively attach the apparatus at the horizontal surface and the spacing element is disposed between the stop bead wall and the horizontal surface.

  • Publication number: 20230374791
Abstract: A casing bead includes a base panel that, with the casing bead mounted at a vertical wall structure, is disposed along the vertical wall structure. A stop bead wall extends from an edge region of the base panel and includes a first side facing the base panel, an opposite second side and a flange extending from the first side and partially over the base panel. A flexible spacing element is disposed at the second side of the stop bead wall and includes a surface spaced from the second side by a pair of side walls. With the casing bead mounted at the vertical wall structure, an adhesive element at the surface of the flexible spacing element engages a structure adjacent the vertical wall structure to attach the casing bead at the structure. In response to expansion of the structure, the flexible spacing element is compressed toward the stop bead wall.

  • Patent number: 11802101
Abstract: Processes and systems for dehydrogenating ethylbenzene may include mixing a steam stream and an ethylbenzene stream to form a feed mixture. The ethylbenzene/steam feed mixture may then be fed to a dehydrogenation reactor containing an alkali metal promoted catalyst. A liquid, selected from an alkali metal liquid, an alkali metal compound liquid, or a liquid solution comprising an alkali metal, may be injected into a feed stream, such as the steam stream, the ethylbenzene stream, or the ethylbenzene/steam feed mixture. Following injection, the liquid vaporizes and disperses into the feed stream upstream of the dehydrogenation reactor. The liquid may be maintained as a liquid from a point upstream of injection to an injection nozzle. The liquid is dispersed through the injection nozzle, in liquid form, to form droplets of liquid dispersed in the feed stream, which evaporate and/or dissolve into the vaporous feed stream.
