    Abstract: A portable worklight having a protective outer casing which encloses the contents of the light. The outer casing includes first and second housings which are operable between open and closed positions. When in a closed position, the working components of the light, including the lens, grill, and light source are enclosed by the two housings. In an open position, the second housing acts as a base which holds the worklight in an upright position.

    Abstract: A protective cover for light switches of the type used to control security lights, in particular exterior security lights. The protective cover including a stationary frame adapted to be secured to a wall mounted security light switch cover having a centrally located stationary frame aperture for receiving the light switch toggle therethrough. A movable frame is hingedly attached to the stationary frame and includes a centrally located movable frame aperture for receiving said switch toggle therethrough when said movable frame is hinged closed. A centrally located toggle cover covers the light switch toggle when the movable frame is in its protective closed position, thereby guarding against an individual inadvertently switching the switch toggle.

A peripheral frame, a frame handle extending outwardly from one side of the frame. A top handle is located above the frame and a bulb storage compartment is located in the top handle. A base structure is arranged to minimize exposure of the user to heat generated by the fixture when replacing a bulb and when being transported from one site to another.

    Abstract: A beverage maker having a reservoir for holding liquid and a filter element for holding a substance, such as coffee grounds, for making the beverage. A partition separates the reservoir and filter element and has a heat responsive film. When the liquid in the reservoir is at or reaches a desired brewing temperature, the film opens to allow the flow of the heated liquid from the reservoir into and through the filter element and substance, such as coffee grounds, to produce a freshly brewed beverage, ready for dispensing.

    Abstract: A drip-type coffee maker adapted for use in a microwave oven. The coffee maker includes a container which can dispense coffee directly into a receptacle therebelow and has an upper reservoir for holding water, a lower filter element for holding coffee grounds and a partition, which separates the reservoir and coffee filter element. The partition includes a portion thereof adapted to close and open communication between the reservoir and the filter element, and a non-toxic heat responsive sealing substance adapted to releasably seal the partition portion in the closed position until water in the reservoir reaches a temperature for brewing coffee.
