Unlike most of the current structures, the disclosure structure consists of an array of four radiating elements and are configured to perform an uniform reception along the horizontal plane and the elements are positioned in a circle or in a square configuration and are located near the outer edge of a circular or a square shape circuit board; the elements are efficiently combined by an unique four way power combiner which is specially designed to obtain the necessary impedance match to an input coaxial cable. The entire structure consist only a few simple parts. Namely, a circuit board with the top and bottom surfaces etched on with the radiating elements and associated feed lines. The structure is designed for a vehicle to maintain continued communication with a satellite while the vehicle is in motion. The structure is comprised of a group of left and right hand circularly polarized elements which are located and fixed to the center of the antenna structure. These feed elements are stacked and are electronically phased to obtain the elevation pointing. The feeds are wrapped around by a vane type polarizer which is designed to provide simultaneous operation of left and right hand circularly polarized signals and the radiation of the feed elements are symmetrically radiated over the entire 360 degree horizontal field of view. The circuit boards' dimensions are all identical containing round disks of equal diameters. The dipole radiating elements are located near the outer edge of the board. By increasing the diameter of the board and a number of boards, or a combination of the two, one can achieve any desired beam shape that may be required. This antenna design operates well in a weak signal environment and as a result the antenna can receive a large number of public channels.
