    Abstract: A winch mounting bracket for attaching to a vehicle has coupling points arranged and adapted for engagement with corresponding anchor points on the vehicle to secure releasably the winch unit to the vehicle. The coupling points include a sleeve and a pair of latch pins. The sleeve is positioned between the latch pins and arranged to engage a pin or hook on the vehicle. The pins are slidable to engage holes in the vehicle and are biased to a latching position to maintain engagement with the holes.
