  • Publication number: 20220349575
Abstract: A method and apparatus which provides the ability to capture natural gas which would otherwise be vented from control valves and use the captured natural gas to power a low pressure pilot light of a burner and/or to power a natural gas engine. In one embodiment, the captured natural gas can be supplemented with an additional supply of natural gas to ensure operation of the pilot and/or natural gas engine in the even that the captured natural gas is not sufficient to provide continuous power of the pilot and/or engine. Optionally, the captured natural gas can be sequestered in a storage vessel.

  • Publication number: 20090283331
Abstract: The present invention relates to a material for producing parts or coatings adapted for highly wear and friction intensive applications, said material comprising preformed hard material particles made of carbides which are randomly embedded in a matrix of a host material. In order to provide a material that is suitable to produce parts or coatings having a high wear resistance, and which at the same time causes a low friction resistance, it is suggested that the carbide particles are preformed spherical particles having a hardness in the range between 1000 and 2000 HV/10 and said host material is a Ni based alloy additionally comprising C, Cr, Mo, Fe, Si, B and Cu in the following ranges (in wt %): C 0.005-1.0; Cr 10.0-26.0; Mo 8.0-22.0; Fe 0.1-10.0; Si 3.0-9.0; B 1.0-5.0; Cu 0.1-5.0.
