    Abstract: A method and apparatus that presents context-relative reminders to a user of a portable electronic device is disclosed. The method may include receiving reminder inputs relating to a reminder. The reminder may become active upon predetermined criteria being met. The predetermined criteria may be at least two of position, time, movement, proximity to designated people, and proximity to designated objects. The method may then include determining whether the predetermined criteria have been met. If the predetermined criteria have been met, the method may include presenting the reminder to the user.
