  • Publication number: 20230122306
Abstract: This document describes fluid handling couplings. For example, this document describes fluid handling couplings that include manually openable valves and that are configured for aseptic fluid handling usage. In some embodiments, the valves are manually openable by rotation of a collar of the fluid handling couplings.

  • Publication number: 20230121092
Abstract: Fluid coupling devices described herein can used in a bioprocessing facility, for example. In some cases, the fluid coupling devices can be used to couple bioprocessing equipment to a media source in a sterilized environment. The fluid coupling devices can include a two-position valve that is manually actuatable and reconfigurable between a first configuration and a second configuration.

  • Patent number: 11612731
Abstract: Quick disconnect fluid coupling devices described herein. The fluid couplings are configured for use in fluid systems for the purpose of providing a low-spill quick disconnect coupling. The fluid couplings include portions that are pivotable in relation to each other to open and close a fluid pathway through the fluid couplings. Particular embodiments of these fluid coupling can be configured to improve medical fluid handling equipment because the fluid coupling devices can be connected and disconnected (e.g., multiple times) while minimizing fluid spillage.

  • Patent number: 6382593
Abstract: A fluid coupling for dispensing fluids, suitable for connecting a fitment disposed within a fluid source to a fluid receiving member. The fluid coupling includes a housing that defines a central passage between front and back openings and a first flow passage between the back and a side openings. A lever actuator is rotatably mounted on the housing to open/close the first flow passage. A poppet member is disposed within the central passage to define a second flow passage. The poppet member is actuatable between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration to close/open the second flow passage. The housing, the poppet member and the lever actuator are each one-piece integrally molded device.

  • Patent number: 4828290
Abstract: The invention relates to a pocket calendar which is perpetual and which utilizes two arrays of elements. The first array has coordinates corresponding to the decade and the year. The elements of the array are one of fourteen designators. The second array has coordinates which correspond to the twelve months and to one of seven 31-day month tables which each begin on one of the seven days of the week. Each element of the second array is comprised of two of the designators of the first array. The location of the designator in the second array indicates the month table for the month in question. Funnels direct the user's attention to the proper month table.
