  • Patent number: 7335152
Abstract: A web forming machine, and a method of forming a web is described and which includes a first rotatable assembly; a second rotatable assembly positioned in spaced relation relative to the first rotatable assembly, and wherein a gap is defined between the first rotatable assembly, and the second rotatable assembly; and wherein a web of material to be formed is received in the gap; and means for reciprocally moving the first rotatable assembly into contact with the web, and into mating relation relative to the second rotatable assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070034694
Abstract: An interactive display capable of providing an interested party with information relating to an object. The object is provided with identifying indicia. The display includes a reader for reading the indicia. Identifying information read from the indicia for a particular object is used to retrieve object information stored in memory in associating with the identifying information for the object. A display system includes the interactive display and a rack supporting multiple objects, each of which is provided with unique identifying indicia capable of being read by the indicia reader of the interactive display. The interactive display displays object information retrieved from the memory to the interested party when the object's identifying indicia is read by the interactive display's indicia reader. The system is particularly useful for displaying product information relating to specially configured product samples supported in a conventional display rack.

  • Publication number: 20050183382
Abstract: Method of forming members from thermally conductive components which have a gap therebetween. The gap is bridged and the conductive components integrated into a composite member by a reinforced polymer. This provides a thermal break which inhibits the flow of heat between the conductive components of the member. This construction also blocks the transfer of sound and other vibrations between the conductive components of the member. The construction also mitigates the formation of condensation on an artifact fixed to one of the components. After the gap is bridged with the reinforced polymer, the member may be punched with holes and roll formed.

  • Publication number: 20050017507
Abstract: A saddle tap fitting formed from sheet metal for attaching an HVAC branch line to a circular or flat-oval main trunk line. The fitting includes a cylindrical collar rotatably attached to a body having a skirt which flexibly conforms to the arcuate surface to which the body is attached. Rotating the collar smoothly changes the angle at which the collar is canted, within a range of about 55 to 90 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20020023890
Abstract: A product display system and method for displaying product samples between opposed brackets. The system preferably comprises pairs of hinge members securing opposed edges of rigid product samples or display panels. The rigid product samples maintain the hinge members in opposed hinged engagement with the brackets.

  • Patent number: 4579308
Abstract: A wall is comprised of a plurality of parallel panels attached to a common support and spaced apart to define a slot therebetween for receiving a portion of a hanger. Each panel is a metal extrusion with a recessed central portion and a discrete substrate removably attached to the panels. Each panel central portion has a U-shaped channel with threads on opposite walls of the channel to facilitate coupling of the panels to the common support.
