    Abstract: An awning tension assembly and method allows the awning of a recreational vehicle to be secured during storms and gusty winds. The assembly is affixed to the ends of fluted awning roll bars and includes a clip which fits within a roll bar flute for securement. The assembly can be installed and adjusted to provide the requisite tension required and can be easily removed when no longer needed.
