  • Patent number: 6009654
Abstract: A tamper resistant safety gun lock (20) utilizes a case (22) having opposing sidewalls (24, 26) and at least one lateral wall (42, 48, 62) to inhibit access to crucial components of a firearm (28). A plurality of gun anchor posts (34) are selectively positionable inside of the case (22), so that the case (22) may be adapted for different types of firearms (28). The gun anchor posts (34) are held in a perforated plate (74) and have a flat disk (68) at one end which is held between the perforated (74) plate and one of the sidewalls. Because the flat disk (68) is held between the perforated plate (74) and one of the sidewalls the gun anchors (34) are generally inaccessible from the exterior of the case. The tamper resistant safety gun lock (20) is provided with a lock mechanism (32) which utilizes a catch (100) extending inwardly from a lateral lock wall. (48). The catch (100) is covered to make the case (22) difficult to pry open.

  • Patent number: 5588382
Abstract: The zone tiller attachment employs a pair of spoked tillage wheels that converge downwardly and forwardly toward one another in leading relationship to the planter and in such an orientation that their heavy, thick, blunt spokes mutually intersect and overlap one another along the lower front extremity and bottom portion of the tiller. The crossed spokes penetrate into the soil to pulverize, cultivate, and substantially disturb the soil particles in place with a churning action while also displacing surface residue to opposite sides of the path of travel, thus producing a relatively narrow band of thoroughly tilled soil having a depth extending down to or below the seed planting level such that the trailing opener can perform its trench opening and seed placement functions in the optimum manner.

  • Patent number: 5370070
Abstract: The placement device utilizes a flat, upright shank having a pair of rotatable residue cutting discs secured to opposite faces of the shank just outside of a slender, generally crescent shaped, replaceable insert component at the bottom of the shank which is only slightly wider than the shank itself. Instead of transverse fasteners which would widen the overall width of the assembly, a single draw bolt extends generally longitudinally of the shank and attaches the lower component to the lower end of the shank which is configured in the nature of a notch so as to complementally receive in edge-to-edge abutting relationship a matingly configured corner of the component.
