  • Patent number: 5918452
Abstract: A pull-type V-rake apparatus for use in raking cut vegetation. The V-rake is comprised of a left hand, side discharge, wheel rake assembly and a right hand, side discharge, wheel rake assembly operably connected by a forward pivotal subframe and a rearward pivotal subframe for use as a single implement. The left and right hand rake assemblies are hydraulically actuated to fold from an operative field position to a transport position. The transport profile being narrow enough to be pulled behind the farm vehicle down a roadway. When the V-rake is in its operative field position, the left and right wheel rake assemblies form a "V". The cut vegetation is raked inwardly and rearwardly on the right side and the left side discharging the cut vegetation in the middle at the apparent vertex of the rakes to produce a single larger windrow as the V-rake traverses the field.

  • Patent number: 5842757
Abstract: A four pivot point track suspension apparatus for a vehicle. The track suspension apparatus includes a frame, a drive wheel, an undercarriage, and a continuous flexible track. The continuous flexible track is engaged by and driven by the drive wheel which is rotatably attached to the vehicle and operably attached to the frame. The undercarriage includes a leading equalizer pivotally mounted to the frame and having leading and trailing idler rollers rotatably attached thereto and a trailing equalizer pivotally mounted to the frame having an intermediate idler roller assembly and trailing idler rollers rotatably attached thereto. The leading equalizer is spring biased against the frame to maintain constant tension on the track and to ensure that all the idler rollers are in constant engagement with the track.

  • Patent number: 5452949
Abstract: A track suspension system for a vehicle having a frame and a continuous flexible track. A drive wheel is attached to the frame for engaging and driving the continuous flexible track. A leading idler arm is pivotally attached to the frame on each side thereof and a leading idler wheel is rotatably mounted for engagement with the track. A trailing idler arm is provided on each side of the vehicle and is pivotally attached to the frame and a trailing idler wheel engagement with the track is rotatably mounted to one end of each idler trailing arm. A leading mid-roller assembly engagement with the track is operably attached to the leading idler arm and a trailer mid-roller assembly is in engagement with the track and is attached to the trailing idler arm. A cushioning device interconnects the leading and trailer idler arms for providing shock absorbing function.

  • Patent number: 5155986
Abstract: A crop raking apparatus having a pair of arms pivotally attached along the vertical axis to a frame. A side delivery type rake having rotatable radially extending teeth is attached to each of the arms. A mechanism is provided for pivoting each one of the rakes about a substantially horizontal axis from a deployed raking position when the respective arm is out to an upper transport position when the respective radial arm is pivoted inwardly. The arms are connected together to the frame by link members which are powered by a hydraulic cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5127216
Abstract: A hay raking and windrowing apparatus having a tool bar adapted to be attached to a prime mover and having a side delivery rake attached to one side thereof for raking hay rearwardly and inwardly and a second side delivery rake on the other side of the tool bar for also raking hay rearwardly and inwardly so that both side delivery rakes together produce a single windrow. A folding apparatus is provided on each end of the tool bar for hydraulically folding the rakes between a lowered field operative position and a raised transport position. Hydraulic cylinders are preferably used to move the rakes between the transport and operative positions thereof.

  • Patent number: 4825958
Abstract: A flexible tool bar apparatus including a first tool bar adapted to have earth working implements attached thereto and a second tool bar also adapted to have earth working implements attached thereto. Two tool bars are pivotally attached at the inner ends thereof. A hydraulic cylinder mechanism is operatively attached at one end thereof to the first tool bar and is operatively attached at the other end thereof to the second tool bar. A fluid device is provided for selectively supplying fluid under pressure to a hydraulic cylinder mechanism for causing the hydraulic cylinder mechanism to hold the tool bar from flexing. The tool bar can flex when the fluid pressure is released.

  • Patent number: 4676171
Abstract: A turntable for turning vehicles, including a base member adapted to be supported on a flat floor and having a platform rotatably disposed above the base member for supporting a vehicle thereon. Rollers are utilized to reduce friction and support the platform as it rolls around and the rollers roll along the floor. The roller mechanism and actuating mechanism are extremely compact in order to allow the turntable to be low enough to the floor so that ramps are not needed to get a vehicle thereon and tipping is not required. A rod is pivotally attached to the underside of the platform and has a cog operatively attached thereto with a free end thereon for engaging a first or second cog holding mechanism attached to each side respectively of the base member.
