The silicon-containing pressure sensitive adhesive composition includes acrylate or methacrylate functionality. A method of making the hybrid composition includes polymerizing the ethylenically unsaturated monomer and the silicon-containing pressure sensitive adhesive composition in the presence of the initiator.
