Abstract: A bait casting handle is shown having a portion adapted to be grasped by the middle ring and little fingers, enclosing into the palm which is canted at a fifteen degree angle to the line of the bait casting rod, and further, having, in line with the line of the first three fingers, an essentially enclosing finger hole adapted to receive the index finger, positioned so as to hold the same in a slightly open pistol grip position, the line of the first digit of the index finger being substantially parallel to the alignment of the rod.
