    Abstract: A trailer lock for preventing the use of a conventional trailer tongue hitch on an unattached trailer vehicle. The lock comprises a towing ball securely fastened to a chain which, in a preferred embodiment, is installed in the socket of a trailer tongue to prevent an unattached trailer from being attached to an unauthorized towing vehicle.
