    Abstract: An embodiment of an exercise monitoring apparatus is shown. Herein, the exercise monitoring apparatus comprises a casing, a fastening member, a first laser device and a second laser device. The first laser device is oriented so that, when actuated, the device outwardly projects a first light beam in a direction substantially perpendicular to a top surface of the casing. The first light beam visually produces a line of light. The second laser device is oriented so that, when actuated, the device outwardly projects a second light beam in a direction substantially perpendicular to one of the sidewalls of the casing and substantially perpendicular to the first light beam.
