    Abstract: A survival kit is disclosed which is based on a hollow tubular member which serves both as the main body of a collapsible cross-bow and as a container for the component parts of the cross-bow and other survival equipment. The preferred embodiment of the elements of the collapsible cross-bow are described and a preferred trigger mechanism for the cross-bow is disclosed.
