  • Publication number: 20160368578
Abstract: A method and apparatus using a camera and image display for improving navigation of watercraft is presented. The system may be used by a helmsman to view regions outside his unaided sight range. Objects ahead of and behind the watercraft, both above and beneath the surface, may be detected and navigation decisions are made thereby. The same method and apparatus may be used to improve the view in backing a trailer. In any case, the images may be recorded for later viewing.

  • Patent number: 7490886
Abstract: A console storage housing for use in a sports type automobile such as a late model CORVETTE produced in the model years from 1997 to 2005 and beyond (Generations C5 and C6 CORVETTE). The console includes openings for storing numerous items carried into an automobile that need convenient and secure retention (i.e. eyeglasses, cellular phones, garage door openers, coins, maps, and beverages). The attachment of the console is accomplished in such a manner to not alter the automobile's original construction. The design utilizes the existing interior component surfaces for mounting. The console emulates the surrounding interior components' surface finishes so as to seamlessly blend into the interior of the automobile.

  • Patent number: 6540102
Abstract: An apparatus and method for article dispensing includes an article bay for holding a plurality of articles, and a conveying mechanism below the article bay operable to move an article. The conveying mechanism can repeat such movement for succeeding articles to a dispensing location. Succeeding articles can optionally be placed on top of the articles directly on the conveying mechanism. The succeeding articles are retained until they move by gravity to the conveying mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5697519
Abstract: An apparatus and method for maximizing the amount and selection of vendible items from a bucket-type vending machine includes a main access door over an access opening to buckets of the machine. One or more shields are positioned below the access opening but can be selectively interlocked with the door so that when the access door uncovers the access opening, any of the shields can be raised to cover any or all of the access opening. This arrangement allows each bucket to be subdivided into separate buckets. The selectable shields therefore can close off from access any of the sections of the bucket which are not selected by a customer thereby allowing use of one main access door to facilitate the increased amount and number of selections available from each bucket of the bucket-type vending machine.
