Abstract: Flexible film for a seat sensor is attached to a housing member in a cavity thereof. A terminal module is pluggably received in the cavity for rapid and simple plugging connection of the flex film to an electronics module.

Abstract: A strain relief ferrule for attachment to a jacketed cable attaching the cable to a connector housing in a manner that transmits any load applied to the cable into the connector housing. The strain relief ferrule has a deformable body that is crimpable to the cable for attachment therewith. The ferrule is also attachable to said connector housing and characterized in that the deformable body carries at least one tab thereupon that after crimping of the strain relief ferrule, the tab is engageable by a retention member of the housing for attachment thereto.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is comprised of a first housing portion having an upper cover portion. A lower housing portion has a corresponding cover portion. Terminals having insulation displacement slots at each end thereof are positioned in slots of the lower housing portions. The upper housing portion has a cable receiving channel at cooperating with a channel in the upper cover portion to align the conductors with apertures in the lower housing portion. The cable can be positioned in a channel of the lower cover portion and the entire assembly can be pressed together by way of the upper and lower lids.
