Abstract: A method involves receiving at least one analog signal from a transmitter, converting the analog signal to digital waveform data representing the analog signal and storing the digital waveform data in a first memory storage area. The digital waveform data includes cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error-checking code and informational message data, and is modulated by an unknown frequency rate parameter. A chirp adjustment function is performed that includes multiplying the digital waveform data by a non-linear data array to correct for the unknown frequency rate parameter. An error-checking function is performed using the CRC error-checking code. If an error is found, the method involves iteratively performing the chirp adjustment function and the error-checking function. The method may be implemented in a receiver in a mobile communications system to correct for acceleration effects of the receiver.

Abstract: A system and method involve channelizing a received signal into two or more narrowband channels, each narrowband channel having an overlapping frequency portion, creating matched narrowband channels by matching the unknown amplitude, phase, and delay of at least two of the narrowband channels, coherently summing the matched narrowband channels into a wideband channel, and equalizing the wideband channel using an equalizing filter to generate a coherent wideband channel.

A power supply is supported by the interior of said shell, and a spindle emanates from the power supply and extends toward the opening. An offset weighted element having a borehole configured therein is provided for receipt of the spindle, as is a motor for rotating the offset weighted element about said spindle. Abstract: A pet activity toy which includes an attachment, extender and base. The attachment is in the form of, for example, a pet toy for attracting and engaging a pet. The extender is in the form of a flexible wand releaseably appended to the attachment by use of a first snap fit connector. The base is employed as a stabilizer element for maintaining the proper orientation of the wand, the base being releaseably connected to the wand by use of a second snap fit connector.
