    Abstract: The invention relates to a template for determining the shape and size construction materials should be cut to substantially match an irregularly shaped area to be covered by the construction materials. The template is a single layer material having lines that permit snapping off parts of the template without a cutting instrument. The template also has pegs on periphery edges of the template to assist in positioning the template. The invention also relates to a method of installing construction materials into an irregularly shaped area with the template.
