  • Publication number: 20150152318
Abstract: A fracturing fluid that includes the combination of liquid ammonia and a proppant, and a method for fracturing an underground formation by pumping this fracturing fluid into a wellbore that extends to the formation. The process includes generating pressure in the wellbore, creating fractures in the formation using the liquid or gelled ammonia and proppant slurry, and releasing pressure from the wellbore. The ammonia released from the liquid or gelled ammonia helps stabilize clays in the formation and the proppant helps to maintain the fractures in the formation.

  • Patent number: 6506186
Abstract: A disposable absorbent article is provided which includes a substantially liquid-impermeable outer cover, a liquid permeable bodyside liner, an absorbent body located between the outer cover and the bodyside liner, and a pair of leg elastics located on the laterally opposed side edges of the article in at least the intermediate section of the article. The outer cover can be configured to provide a substantially permanent deformation of at least about 10 percent when subjected to a tensile force of 100 gmf per inch (per 2.54 cm) of width according to the Material Elongation and Deformation Tensile Test set forth herein. The permanent deformation of the outer cover in use can result in the article having a substantially permanent leg elastic deformation value of at least about 3 percent when subjected to the Product Deformation Test set forth herein.

  • Publication number: 20020165518
Abstract: A convertible pant-like, prefastened, disposable absorbent article having a back waist region and a front waist region forming a waist opening and two leg regions each forming a leg opening. A ratio of an elastic tension of the back waist region to an elastic tension of each of the leg region is at least about 0.6. Thus, the convertible pant-like, prefastened disposable absorbent article of the present invention is effective in reducing undesired leakage when it is applied to the wearer in a manner similar to a conventional training pant rather than a conventional diaper article.
