  • Publication number: 20180293920
Abstract: An envelope for interchangeable display inserts includes a front cover that is transparent and a back panel that is mountable to a desired surface. The front cover and the back panel are perimetrically connected to each other to form a pocket into which a display insert is positioned and displayed through the front cover. A non-affixed front edge of the front cover is aligned with a non-affixed back edge of the back panel to form an opening through which the display insert is positioned into the pocket. A flap is connected to the front cover along the non-affixed front edge, wherein the flap provides a means for securing the opening and the pocket closed. Preferably, the back panel is magnetic, wherein the back panel may be secured to a desired metal surface.

  • Patent number: 6322500
Abstract: The present invention encompasses tools and a tool-holding retractor assembly. The retractor assembly spreads an incision and holds the incision open. At least one extension device, having a tool holder on one end, attaches to the assembly. The holder includes a selectively locking multi-axis adjustable mounting element adapted to grip a tool shaft. The mounting element acts as a universal mounting providing rotational and sliding movement of the tool shaft. The extension device adjusts to position the tool holder peripherally of the surgical field. Once the retractor is placed, the extension device provides full access to regions below the incision. The extension device allows the surgeon to chose the insertion point and insertion angle of the tool shaft.
