  • Publication number: 20240136699
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for installing an antenna assembly to a support member at a required position via at least one clamping means to locate and engage with the support member to secure the antenna assembly. The assembly includes a locating portion to locate with the support member prior to engagement of the at least one clamping means to substantially retain the at least one clamping means and/or antenna assembly in the required location with respect to the support member, whilst the at least one clamping means is engageably operated to the support member and thereby ensure more accurate and efficient operation of the antenna assembly during subsequent use.

  • Publication number: 20230001255
Abstract: This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods for exercising using dynamic fluid movement. In one embodiment, an assembly may have a central body formed as a closeable reservoir, with two opposite side handles. The handles may each include a rotatable grip member. The reservoir may be at least partially filled with a liquid. As user exercises, the assembly is moved while user maintains a grip on at least one grip member. The rotatable grips allow for movement of the central body while the grip is maintained. As the assembly is moved for an exercise, movement of the liquid in the reservoir provides an additional force. In one exemplary exercise, a user may hold the assembly by the opposite grips and walk or run while swinging the arms and rotating the torso back and forth. Where a cap is present, the central body may serve as a water bottle.

  • Publication number: 20220023080
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stent device comprising a sleeve formed with a plurality of compactable spring ring elements arranged along its length, the sleeve having compacted and expanded states. Each said ring element has an undulating profile at the surface of the sleeve so that adjacent ring elements at least partially overlap along the longitudinal extent of the device, the ring elements being compactable against their natural resilience to reduce the outer diameter of the sleeve for allowing housing of the compacted stent device in a frangible sheath, with adjacent ring elements being inter-coupled so as to substantially maintain their axial spacing between the compacted and expanded states.

  • Publication number: 20220023081
Abstract: The present application relates to a stent device deployment apparatus. The apparatus comprises a body having an internal bore for receiving at least a length of sheathed stent device collapsed into an un-deployed state. A bore restriction is provided for restricting passage of any stent device present in the bore to a distal end of the body. The bore restriction is configured for allowing stent device sheath material of a stent device in the bore to be accessed at the distal end of the body and pulled past the bore restriction, thereby exposing the stent device at a proximal end thereof.

  • Publication number: 20170113144
Abstract: An online, virtual stock market game whereby players compete in a tournament bracket-like, elimination competition by creating and managing virtual portfolios comprising real-world common financial investments, likely common stocks. An equal amount of virtual funds are originally provided to the participants. Purchasing shares at the market price, from other players and in multi-Player swaps of assets and valuing the same at predetermined periodic times intervals, players compete head to head to maximize their portfolio values, based on a verifiable market, for example, the New York Stock Exchange. The game progresses with winners of the brackets moving on to play against other winners with the “losers” going to a loser bracket where they continue in the portfolio building competition. All participants are competing for actual cash prizes or merchandise held within a virtual warehouse until actual distribution. The garnering of prizes is based on rules set by the game operators.

  • Publication number: 20040009061
Abstract: The present invention provides a compressor comprising a housing 1 defining an air inlet passage 2 and a volute duct. A rotary impeller 6 is located within the housing 1 between the inlet passage 2 and the volute duct. A sleeve 3 is mounted axially in the inlet passage 2 and divides the inlet passage into a radially outer portion 4 and a radially inner portion 5. A plurality of inlet guide vanes 8 are positioned in the radially outer portion 4 and impart a rotary component of movement pre-swirl) to air passing through the inlet passage 2. A fluid cut-off valve 9 is positioned in the radially inner portion 5 and for selectively preventing fluid flow therethrough and diverting all of the air through the radially outer portion 4 of the inlet passage 2 at low mass flow rates.
