Abstract: What is provided is a bag having one or more interior surfaces and one or more exterior surfaces; a first lighting strand affixed to an interior surface, wherein the first lighting strand is capable of providing illumination to at least one interior portion of the bag; a second lighting strand affixed to an exterior surface, wherein the second lighting strand is capable of providing illumination to at least one exterior portion of the bag; at least one battery pack electrically coupled to the first and second lighting strands capable of providing power to said first and second lighting strands to illuminate the lighting strands; and at least one switch electrically coupled to the battery pack, wherein the switch is capable of turning power from said battery pack to the lighting strips on and off.
