  • Patent number: 9698582
Abstract: An electrical trainline junction box formed from a housing having first and second opposing sides, an identification module positioned in the housing, and first and second receptacles positioned in each of the first and second opposing sides. The first and second receptacles have a plurality of electrical contacts arranged in a predetermined geometry so that only one possible orientation and electrical connection to trainline flanges is possible. The flanges include contact pins in inserts coupled to the flanges by sleeves. The outer surface of the inserts and the inner surface of the sleeves are keyed to allow only a single orientation of the inserts relative to the sleeves. The outer surface of the sleeves is shaped to allow only a single orientation of the sleeves relative to the flanges, thus ensuring that the proper electrical connection is made when the junction box is installed.

  • Patent number: 8115493
Abstract: A trainline integrity locomotive test device is provided that is configured to provide conventionally provided End-Of-Train (EOT) functionality required for a single locomotive test as well as functionality necessary for troubleshooting electrical problems in trainline electrical conductors, wherein the trainline integrity locomotive test device includes a reduced number of components in comparison with a conventional EOT device. Additionally, the test device is provided in more compact, durable and robust form relative to conventional EOT devices. As part of the transmission of trainline integrity data from the test device to the Head-End-Unit, a communications heartbeat signal is substituted for brake pipe pressure conventionally detected by EOT devices, so as to provide an indication of data communication reliability.

  • Patent number: 7019092
Abstract: Fluorinated copolymers useful in photoresist compositions and associated processes for microlithography are described. These copolymers are comprised of a fluoroalcohol or protected fluoroalcohol functional group which simultaneously imparts high ultraviolet (UV) transparency and developability in basic media to these materials and a repeat unit derived from an acrylate monomer containing a fluoroalkyl group or a hydroxyl substituted alkyl group. The materials of this invention have high UV transparency, particularly at 193 and 157 nm, which makes them highly useful for lithography at these short wavelengths.

Abstract: A system for uniformly dispensing agricultural chemicals in soil comprises a holding reservoir for the liquid agrichemicals, at least one multi-port uniform dispersing manifold or splitter, and a number of dispensing delivery tubes for dispensing the chemicals proximate openings or slits in the soil during various functions such as planting. The liquid agricultural chemicals, within the system, flow, under pressure, from the reservoir to the exit orifice of each delivery conduit. The multi-port, uniform liquid dispersing manifold passively equally and uniformly, divides the incoming fluid stream to provide separate, but substantially equal, divided fluid streams exiting the manifold to individual delivery conduits.

  • Patent number: 6884564
Abstract: Fluorinated polymers, photoresists and associated processes for microlithography are described. These polymers and photoresists are comprised of esters derived from fluoroalcohol functional groups that simultaneously impart high ultraviolet (UV) transparency and developability in basic media to these materials. • Patent number: 5750312
Abstract: It has been found that surface reactions with basic materials such as amines found in the processing environment during lithographic processing contribute to a loss of linewidth control for resists such as chemically amplified resists. This loss in linewidth results from the reaction of the acid generated by exposing radiation with, for example, the amine resulting in a lack of chemical reaction where such reaction is desired. The problem is solved in one embodiment by employing an acid containing barrier layer on the resist.
