The method receiving a data feed from a processing node, the data feed containing data indicative of the identity and system status of a component running on the processing node; in response to the identity of the component, first determining if the component supports one or more services; identifying the temporal activity of the one or more services and, in dependence on the determining step, second determining the impact of the system status on the one or more services.

    Abstract: A system and method are described for providing an indication of the proximity of a moveable device. The system comprises at least a first moveable device having a transmitting means for transmitting data comprising an identification of the first device and a second device having a receiving means for receiving data from the first device and a transmitting means for transmitting data including the identification of the first device together with an indication of the proximity of the identified device. A further device with a receiving means for receiving the data transmitted by the second device can be used in order to obtain an indication of the proximity of the first device. The indication of the proximity of the first device is a scale value which degrades as the first device moves away from the second device.

    Abstract: An apparatus in which a sheet advancing along a pre-determined path is collected in one of a plurality of movable sheet receiving stations. One of the receiving stations is aligned with the sheet path. A guide moves from an inoperative position spaced from the receiving stations to an operative position coupling the aligned sheet receiving station with the sheet path. This enables the sheet to advance into the receiving station.
