Abstract: A comprehensive animal footbath flushing system is provided that includes a source of water under pressure, that may be selectively introduced either to a flushing outlet in the footbath, or to a venturi pipe adjacent to a drain for the footbath, or to both at the same time. Water or a water-chemical mixture may be introduced into the footbath basin to flush out any accumulated organic materials. Alternately or at the same time, a separate flow of water may be introduced into the drain line which causes a Venturi at the drain, and facilitates rapid removal of water and other materials from the footbath. The drain opening may be provided in the floor of the basin or in one of the side walls. In some embodiments the basin floor is sloped, and the drain is located at a lower end of the floor.

Abstract: The present invention provides improved movable footbaths for the treatment of hooved animals. The footbaths include a watertight basin with sidewalls and end walls. The footbaths are movable for use in temporary or permanent locations. The footbaths include a cleat in the lower surface of the basin adjacent to a removable and replaceable ramp, and the ramp has a rough upper surface that provides friction for hooved animals allowing them to easily exit the footbath. After wear and tear, the ramp may be pried out or otherwise removed and replaced with a new ramp. Embodiments of the present footbath may be used to repair existing permanent footbaths, instead of destroying and rebuilding them, by inserting the movable footbath into the permanent footbath.

Abstract: A plurality of data objects are created relating to employee attendance, each data object having a potential relation with one of more other data objects. A trend among individual employees or groups of employees using among a plurality of data objects is evaluated. A course of action is recommended so as to affect the trend. A simple or multi-layered course of action can be recommended as to affect attendance trends. A supervisor is advised of the disciplinary action according to a company policy. Adherence to or deviation from the policy is tracked. The results of policy enforcement are evaluated to determine an effectiveness of the policy.
